Whether a bar snack, appetizer, or main dish, Buffalo wings have become an American staple, appearing nearly everywhere. But they weren’t always as widespread as they are now. As their namesake implies, they were created in Buffalo in 1964 at the Anchor Bar. The owner needed a quick and cheap way to serve up chicken, but still have it taste good. What they got, would turn out to become a masterpiece!
