St. Joseph’s day is celebrated every March 19th, and is the feast day of St. Joseph, husband of the Virgin Mary. It is also the day that St. Joseph’s Day cakes are sold, also know as Zeppoles. They are either a doughnut or fritter shell, with powered sugar on top and filled with custard on the inside.
